    BANK ON CHANGE

    Greg Harwood, Nedbank Media Relations.

Lindsay Madden (Letters March 25) refers to Nedbank not being prepared to change coins for notes. This is untrue and Nedbank policy clearly states that change-for-change will be provided to clients and non clients.

Nedbank client service GM Doug Hardie says the information provided to Madden contradicts Nedbank's policy of assisting clients and non-clients with requests to change coins for notes and vice versa. Where a large number of coins are changed it may be necessary to make prior arrangements with the branch. This was an isolated incident and we apologise to Madden for the misunderstanding.
